We Need You

The  Pender Islands Health Care Society is volunteer run. From the volunteer Board of Directors to the volunteers who provide service to communty members in need, through our Community Services Volunteer Services programs, we depend on and are indebted to our volunteers and the energy that they give so generously to our community.

If you have an interest in becoming a volunteer in any of our programs, please contact our Community Support Worker, or fill out our Volunteer Membership Form that allows you to choose the type of volunteer activities you are most interested in.

Finally, THANK YOU, to all the volunteers that make quality health care a reality for all Islanders!

Here are some examples of local volunteer activities you could become active with:

  • Support Groups: examples could be the welcome wagon, consumer and family support groups, training to lead groups, walking clubs, chronic health support groups, etc
